FAQ
Do I need a visa to study in Poland?
This, unfortunately, depends on where you are from. The general rule is that a visa for long-term stay (more than 90 days) is required of all the non-EU nationals. Contact your nearest Polish consulate to check your status.
Can the School arrange a visa for me?
We’ll help and provide any assistance needed but we can’t get you per see. In order to do that you need to contact the nearest Polish consulate to begin application proceedings. Please remember that this process takes a while, so best start now.
My visa application requires a document of purpose, can you provide me with one?
Yes. We can provide you with a letter confirming you are undergoing application process at the School.
I can get my diploma naturalized in Poland, do I still need an Apostille?
No. A naturalized (by the Polish government) diploma is as good as a Polish one, so if this is easier for you to do - go for it.
I will receive my English certification after the application deadline. Help!
Don't worry. Write us a short letter describing what certification you intend to get and when, then attach the letter to your application form. Please remember we will need to receive the scan of your certification before the end of August.
What are the admission rules ?
The rules are very simple: filling in the on-line application at APPLY HERE, remember to attach all listed documents as well as work samples, submitting the on-line application along with proof of paid admission fee (50 Euro) and wait for the school to get in touch with you via e-mail.
How to prepare for the interview?
Once you have sent your application along with all the necessary documents (listed on our website) and sent a confirmation of your application payment, you will be contacted by the school within a week or ten days to set a date for your interview. Depending on whether you are already in Poland or not we conduct the interviews at school or via MS Teams.
The interview is usually hosted by one of our film directing professors, Mr Marek Brodzki and Aleksandra Toruński – the school's specialist in recruitment and international cooperation. Mostly we ask about your film inspirations, the work samples that you sent us as well as some basic questions connected to film knowledge and story telling. It usually takes 15 to 20 minutes and we inform you about the results directly during the interview or within few days. All interviews are held in English.
