Warsaw Film School offers a wide range of student support.
ACCOMODATION
For Warsaw Film School international students who wish to stay in a student dormitory we have prepared accommodation possibilities in a Student Dorm named ROGAŚ in a Compound “Przyjaźń” (Konarskiego Street 3). The compound is set in a really nice green surrounding. They have a club, a sports facility, shops, a library and a stadium nearby.
The accommodation consists of double rooms that make part of a bigger housing. Each housing has two such rooms (see photos below). The rooms are furnished with beds, cupboards and book shelves. Each housing has a separate bathroom and toilet as well as a kitchen with a joined dining room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooking device and a refrigerator.
The student dorm has an elevator made for disabled peoples’ use, a TV room, study rooms, guest rooms, a gym and two laundry places. Each kitchen has a phone installed with an internal line. The students living in the Student Dorm “Rogaś” can get access to WI-FI connection.
ACCOMODATION RULES
Students can seek accommodation in the Student Dorm from October till June in a given academic year. For those interested in this option please send your requests to: international@warsawfilmschool.com
Students who will be living in the Student Dorm should show up there on October 2nd at the very latest. If a student shows up earlier than October he is bound to pay an extra amount per night in the month of September.
Prices for the academic year 2020/2021:
- a place in a double housing – 560 pln / month
- refundable deposit - 700 pln
- 100 pln fee for the possible rise of prices of the so called “media” (water, electricity, gas etc.)
Before accommodating, the students have to make the payment for the first month, the deposit and the media payment. All payments are to be done by bank transfer to the Student Dorm account (to be announced).
Students interested in accommodating in the Student Dorm in the holiday season (July and August) should submit an written request to the Dean of the Student Dorm.
INSURANCE
Foreign students do not participate in the Polish national health care system.
We suggest to buy a health insurance in your home country before your arrival. Alternatively, the insurance may also be purchased in Poland after your arrival.
If you are a EU or EEA citizen and you already have a valid health insurance in your country, you are entitled to receive free health care services from the health care providers who have contracts with Polish National Health Fund (NFZ).

If you are non-EU citizen and you do not have any valid health insurance from your country you will have to make a so-called “voluntarily insurance”. In order to do so you will have to submit the copy of your passport, residence permit your previous insurance (or document containing the information about its duration)along with the filled in registration form.
